Chins Coffee
Coffee with a Little Character

ABOUT
Chin’s Coffee is a playful café concept born from the Chin’s and Chinlung universe, bringing its familiar irreverence into a space built for coffee, conversation, and good company. Casual, energetic, and packed with personality, it turns the everyday coffee run into something with a little more character. At its heart is a social space that takes its coffee seriously without taking itself too seriously.

CHALLENGE
Keeping It in the Family
Giving Chin’s Coffee a personality of its own while retaining a recognisable connection to Chin’s and Chinlung.
Bringing coffee culture into the brand’s irreverent, youthful world without slipping into familiar café territory.
Turning the mascot from a graphic device into a character capable of carrying stories across the experience.
Creating an identity that could travel naturally from cups and collaterals into signage, surfaces, and the physical space.

SOLUTION
Brewing Up a Whole World
We gave Chin’s Coffee an expressive identity with enough personality to fill the room. The mascot became a recurring character, popping up across packaging, collaterals, signage, and spatial moments with a life of its own. Bold graphics and playful applications carried the same energy throughout, turning the café into a world people could recognise before they even took the first sip.

BRAND EXPERIENCE
Character in Every Corner
The brand was designed to be encountered everywhere, from what you hold in your hand to what surrounds you in the café. The mascot leads the way, while graphics, surfaces, signage, packaging, and collaterals keep revealing little moments of personality, making the physical space feel unmistakably Chin’s Coffee.

IMPACT
Worth Staying for Another Cup
Chin’s Coffee takes the equity of an existing universe and gives people a new way to experience it. The character-led system creates stronger recall across every touchpoint, while the spatial identity turns a coffee stop into a destination with enough personality to keep people looking, engaging, and coming back.
FolioEx positioned itself for those who move with intent in a space that rarely does.
